Frantz "Select" TP Elements now available

FINALLY, I am pleased to announce officially the introduction of our new Frantz “Select” TP Elements. So often, I receive telephone calls asking “where can I get the toilet paper I need for my Frantz Filter?” Folks have tried grocery stores, discount stores, wholesale membership warehouse outlets, and more. Now, the search is over with the new Frantz “Select” paper.
For years, Frantz Oil Filters has offered its own brand of TP for use in the Frantz Filter. Last year, the paper manufacturer decided that unless Frantz purchased the paper by the shipping container load, they were not going to produce it anymore for us. A container holds 1000 cartons of toilet paper. Each carton contains 96 rolls of the former TP. Today, they have increased the center cardboard tube (core) so that effectively, when they roll the same 1000 sheets of paper onto the core, it makes for a larger diameter product giving the illusion that you are buying more paper for your money. NOT TRUE! As a result, the center core fits loose on the Frantz Filter base tube. We have solved that with our new machined metal sleeve making for a nice snug fit again.
Our new paper rolls are individually wrapped with shrinkwrap plastic and a weatherproof Frantz label applied. The shrinkwrap protects the roll from moisture and dirt during storage and/or shipping.
Frantz “Select” meets the specifications and quality control demands of Frantz. It is a tightly-wound single-ply roll, 4.2” tall and a 1.7” center core. Other toilet paper is often 4.5” tall and will not fit well into the canister. The test for good paper for the filter is to pinch using the index finger in the center of the roll and the thumb on the outside and there should be little give to a medium pinch. Also, give a pinch from top and bottom to gauge the density of the paper. Do not squeeze the sides. That is not a good test and soft, squeezable paper is undesirable for filter applications. Toilet paper with texture impressions or patterns hold air which leads to “channeling” of the paper allowing oil to sneak past without being filtered. Of course perfumes and other chemicals are undesirable in our engine oil from the paper. Frantz “Select” is white paper without any of the above containments.
Frantz “Select” is available in normal quantities of 1-6 rolls. Larger amounts are also available. With the above qualities and attention to detail, we at Frantz Oil are attempting to keep the cost down for you. We have kept the retail price of our Frantz “Select” the same $3 per roll as our former non-Frantz brand. Production costs are 1/3 higher to bring you this quality paper in this fashion but we at Frantz Oil believe it is justified for good service of our filter and quality filtration results. This product is appropriate for the current Frantz Oil Filter, Frantz Transmission Filter, and Frantz Fuel Filter. It works excellent in the former Frantz “SKY” Oil Cleaners too.
As an added bonus, the Frantz weatherproof label is removable to be placed on your tool box, bumper, storage door, or other surface. Some have asked for labels or decals – now you have one with each roll of Frantz “Select” paper.
