This SPECIAL oil filter sandwich adapter offers one of the easiest ways to install your Frantz Oil Filter along with an oil temperature or oil pressure gauge if you wish for a quick and smooth installation. If you decide not to install any gauges the empty port is supplied with two aluminum threaded plugs for future use.
It allows you to mount an oil supply line for the Frantz Oil Filter without the need to drill into your oil pan or remove your stock oil sending unit. This is especially important if you have a cast aluminum oil pan.
This adapter is built with billet aluminum and engineered specifically to prevent unnecessary drilling on your vehicle when doing further aftermarket installations. They are beautiful representing high quality workmanship. They have a powdercoat type finish.
Our oil adapter plate eliminates that hassle by utilizing the mounting point on your engine oil filter. No modifications are needed to install the sandwich adapter. Simply unscrew your stock spin on filter and “sandwich” this adapter between the engine block and the spin on filter.
Each sandwich plate adapter has THREE 1/8" NPT threaded openings on the side allowing for a variety of mounting options. Use one for the supply line to the Frantz Oil Filter, another for an optional oil pressure gauge, while still another for an optional oil temperature gauge. The Frantz Oil Filter utilizes 1/8" NPT brass fittings.
