This sleeve is 1.5" ID and 1.7" OD allowing for the larger diameter cardboard center cores that some TP manufacturers use. No need to use rubber O-rings or other quick-fixes in order to accomodate the better paper rolls you like.
This sleeve fits snugly over the center metal tube of the filter base. Then the TP fits snugly over the tube and sleeve for a nice tight fit. No oil sneaks past the cardboard tube center missing being filtered with this sleeve. It can be removed also if desired.
