The cannister cover is removed showing the filtering element inside. Toilet paper is often used or we can supply the specially manufactured correct element for your unit. It is important that the element roll be very dense and wrapped tightly. The center cardboard tube must be the right diameter to fit snugly on the tube of the base shown below.

The filter element slides over the base tube making a snug fit. The base is bolted with supplied bolts to the mounting bracket shown below.

Sometimes the filter element is snug in the cannister cover when the cover is removed so to make it easier for element removal, a pull tab is inserted first allowing easy removal. Two pictured but only one used.

The element rests on a screen support eliminating any breakdown of the paper element itself. Two pictured but only one used.

The paper element is held in place by a retainer ring at the top. This is easily removed for changing the element and reused. Two pictured but only one used.

When assembling the cannister cover with new element back onto the base, it rests on a 4-square sided rubber seal. These square-shaped ring seals are replaceable. We recommend routinely replacing them once each year. Two pictured but only one used.

The new 2000 version of the filter utilizes a "T-bolt" clamp for a secure assembly.

The last step is the mounting brack (included with each unit). Even the mounting bolts and screws are included for you with your kit.

The final unit may be mounted in any attitude - upsidedown, rightsideup, or sideways to adapt to your installation available space.
